How TIS Group complies with the GDPR

TIS Group takes careful handling of personal data very seriously. "Personal data" refers to any information concerning the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable person. All personal data collected by TIS Group about you is treated strictly confidentially and will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent. Personal data we collect

After a contract is established, TIS Group will record your personal and/or business data collected through our services and the information you provide to us. We only collect data necessary to deliver our services appropriately.

  • Phone number
  • IP address (for unique visitors from analytics tooling)

Client, supplier, or other relationship

To provide an even better user experience and tailor our offerings, we use your data with your consent. When you contact us, for example, via email, social media, or phone, we may ask for your contact information to follow up with more details about your initial request. Your data is accessible only to those within the organization who are handling your request.

Personal data is processed in connection with the following purposes:

  • To fulfill contracts, transactions, and services
  • To respond to questions and complaints from data subjects
  • For internal business management
  • For marketing purposes and relationship management
  • If necessary, to detect unlawful behavior related to TIS Group, its relationships, and its employees

We use various IT tools, such as email, to communicate internally and with you. We retain a history of this communication as long as it is relevant for follow-up, accountability, and security. To operate and protect our IT systems, we process IP addresses and user data, among other things. We do not store your data longer than legally required and ensure data destruction once the legal retention period expires.

When handling claims, it may be necessary to use and retain relevant personal data as long as it remains relevant. For internal audits, we process relevant data from clients, employees, and candidates. We also process data to invoice and account for our services, and we store relevant data for financial administration and invoice approval. Personal data may be used for legal purposes. To measure how clients experience and use our services, we conduct surveys. Through analysis and reports, we continually improve our services and report to clients. Where possible, we combine and anonymize data to minimize the use of personal data.

Processing of personal data

We process personal data because:

  • Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with the data subject.
  • Processing is based on a legal obligation.
  • The data subject has given explicit consent for processing. A data subject has the right to withdraw consent at any time.

Sharing personal data

TIS Group uses collected personal data for its business activities. Unless there is explicit consent or a legal obligation, information sharing is solely based on the performance of the contract. We do not share data with third parties.

When another party processes personal data on our behalf, a data processing agreement is established. This agreement specifies the purpose of the data they receive, how it may be processed, and how it should be handled. The third-party processors and analytics providers used by inquerio.ai are listed in our cookie policy.

Security of personal data

As part of our procedures and to comply with the GDPR, we maintain a record of our data processing tools and the organizations associated with them. In selecting vendors for these products, we consider our own policies and applicable legal requirements.

Looking for a job at the company

When you submit your information via a job listing, register at a branch, or use external assistance to find a job, we process the following data:

  • When applying for a position or creating an account on our website, we create a profile that stores relevant information for your application, such as skills and knowledge, to evaluate your application. We retain this information until the process is completed and, with your consent, may retain it for up to 1 year to find a suitable position for you.
  • During the application process, we may request references from contacts you provide. We store this information for the duration of the process or for up to 1 year with your consent.
  • To offer you a better user experience and tailor our offerings, we use your data if you provide consent. We do this with cookies and similar technologies; more information can be found in our cookie policy.
  • When you contact us, we may request contact information to handle your query or complaint and follow up with additional information. Your data is accessible only to those responsible for handling your query or complaint.
  • We use various ICT tools, such as email, to communicate internally and with you. We keep a record of this communication as long as it is relevant for follow-up, accountability, and security.
  • To operate and secure our IT systems, we process IP addresses and user data. We store this information for six months.
  • When handling claims, relevant personal data may be used and retained as long as necessary.
  • For internal audits, we process relevant data from clients, employees, and candidates. Personal data may also be used for legal purposes.
  • To measure how you experience and use our services, we conduct surveys and studies.

Your privacy rights

The GDPR grants individuals certain rights. Every data subject has the right to access, correct, supplement, erase, be forgotten, restrict, transfer, and object to the processing of their data free of charge.

If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at info@this.nl. Our Data Protection Officer will respond as soon as possible.

Every data subject has the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority if they believe that TIS Group is not complying with the GDPR.

You may also file a complaint or report an incident to TIS Group via info@this.nl. We hope to resolve any issues before it comes to this and will always strive to meet our obligations. In the event of a (potential) data breach, our Data Protection Officer will contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority and the data subjects involved.
